The Anam Introduces Remarkable New Beach Club
CAM RANH, Vietnam (Sept. 25, 2019) – Vietnam’s new ‘It’ destination Cam Ranh has welcomed its most happening venue yet, a cool new beach club with sweeping views of Long Beach, a vast outdoor deck and live music.
Aptly called the Beach Club, the venue is perched on the 12-hectare Anam resort’s finest ground right on Long Beach, renowned as one of Asia’s top beaches where traditional sampans and coracles still ply the coastal waters and picturesque islands loom just offshore.
The Beach Club’s immense deck and bright and airy interior seat up to 180 people. The new spot stakes a claim to Cam Ranh’s longest bar counter, measuring 18.5 metres and affording a panoramic vista of the beach’s white sands, turquoise waters and dramatic headland.
The venue's relaxed yet refined atmosphere is underscored by its rich and earthy palette, stemming from its timber frame and finishes sourced from sustainable forests, wooden floors, thatched roof and bamboo furniture.
The menu specializes in Western cuisine, offering a diverse selection of grilled meats, homemade pizzas, burgers, pastas, fresh salads, platters and desserts. Signature dishes include “The chef’s burger” comprising a wagyu beef patty, grilled boneless beef rib, local pickled mushrooms, mozzarella cheese, sliced chorizo, grilled zucchini and red onion marmalade, as well as red wine-braised lamb shank with soft polenta and fresh citrus salad, and a BBQ Beach Club platter with fresh grilled lobster.
The Beach Club also serves up a broad spectrum of beverages ranging from tea and coffee including beetroot and turmeric latte, freshly squeezed juices and mocktails, to local, draught and imported beers, cocktails, spirits, wines and more.
“You can’t find a better place to be on the water in Vietnam with an ice-cold beer in hand,” said The Anam’s founder Pham Van Hien. “Cam Ranh has been crying out for a venue like this where you can sit back and listen to chill-out tunes all day and a live Filipino band every Friday evening performing one classic after the next.”
The Anam overlooks 300 metres of beachfront on Vietnam’s scenic Cam Ranh peninsula, which averages more than 300 sunny days per year. With a design inspired by Vietnam’s bygone Indochine era, the luxurious five-star resort boasts 77 villas and 136 rooms and suites. The Anam also features a fine dining grill, all-day dining restaurant, a Vietnamese restaurant and bar, a classical bar, a beach club, in-room dining, a 10 treatment-room spa, 3-D movie theatre, three capacious swimming pools, ballroom, conference rooms, recreation and fitness centre, a tennis court, yoga room and deck, kids club, putting green, gift shop and more. The Anam and its team are guided by a “Indochine Charm, Modern Luxury” approach to accommodation, blending colonial-era charm and warm-hearted Vietnamese service with modern comforts and convenience.
