JAKARTA, INDONESIA, 15 September 2026 — SCOP3 Group, an Indonesia-based hospitality, lifestyle and tourism communications agency, is strengthening its regional portfolio with four new partnerships spanning Singapore, West Java and Central Java: Resorts World Sentosa, Hilton Padalarang Bandung, Angsana Bogor Gunung Geulis and KoenoKoeni Hotel Semarang.

The appointments bring together four distinctly different hospitality propositions — from one of Singapore’s leading integrated resorts and an internationally recognised hotel brand to a nature-led highland retreat and a culturally rooted independent luxury hotel.

Together, they reflect the expanding breadth of SCOP3’s hospitality PR and communications portfolio and the agency’s growing experience in connecting international and Indonesian hospitality and tourism brands with audiences across Indonesia.

The portfolio expansion follows another significant milestone for SCOP3. In August 2026, the agency was named a winner at the Indonesia PR of the Year 2026 Awards in the Marketing PR Program category for its campaign with the Saudi Tourism Authority.

The recognition reinforces SCOP3’s approach to hospitality and tourism communications, centred on audience understanding, cultural relevance and strategic storytelling designed to create meaningful connections beyond visibility alone.

““Hospitality and travel are becoming increasingly competitive, and simply being visible is no longer enough. Brands need to understand why they are relevant to a particular audience, what makes their story distinctive and how to translate that into conversations people genuinely want to engage with,” said Ronald Liem, Director of SCOP3 Group.

“These new partnerships are particularly exciting because they represent very different parts of the hospitality landscape. From a major regional destination such as Resorts World Sentosa to international hotel brands and independent hospitality concepts rooted in their local surroundings, each requires a different communications approach. That diversity continues to deepen our understanding of what resonates with Indonesian travellers and consumers.”

Resorts World Sentosa: Reintroducing a Leading Singapore Destination to Indonesian Travellers

Among SCOP3’s newest regional partnerships is Resorts World Sentosa (RWS), the 49-hectare integrated resort on Singapore’s Sentosa Island.

RWS is entering a new chapter through its RWS 2.0 transformation, bringing together new and evolving attractions, hotels, dining, entertainment and lifestyle experiences.

With Indonesia ranking among RWS’ top three priority source markets, the transformation creates a significant communications opportunity: giving Indonesian travellers many of whom are already familiar with Singapore and Sentosa, compelling new reasons to rediscover the destination.

New experiences including Illumination’s Minion Land at Universal Studios Singapore, the expanded Singapore Oceanarium, and lifestyle destination WEAVE and The Laurus, a Luxury Collection Resort, contribute to RWS’ evolution as an increasingly multi-day leisure and lifestyle destination.

SCOP3’s communications approach will connect these developments with wider conversations around family travel, experiential tourism, luxury hospitality, dining, lifestyle and entertainment rather than presenting each experience in isolation.

Across Indonesia, a different set of destination stories is taking shape.

In West Java, Hilton Padalarang Bandung marks the debut of Hilton’s flagship brand in West Bandung. Located in Kota Baru Parahyangan, the 218-room property sits just 10 minutes from Padalarang Whoosh high-speed rail station and approximately 30 minutes from Bandung city centre.

More than the arrival of an international hotel brand, the opening reflects the changing connectivity and development of the wider West Bandung area. With contemporary accommodation, four dining venues, wellness and family facilities, alongside forthcoming meeting and event spaces, the property creates an opportunity to position Padalarang not simply as a gateway to Bandung, but as an evolving leisure and business destination in its own right.

At Angsana Bogor Gunung Geulis, the destination story takes a more nature-led direction. Set within the highlands, the resort is designed around opportunities for guests to reconnect with their surroundings and with one another. Mahoni Eco-Park, its organic herbs and spices garden, Terra Kids Club, Angsana Spa, outdoor yoga and four swimming pools bring the natural setting into the guest experience, while proximity to Gunung Geulis Country Club further strengthens its appeal as a highland retreat within easy reach of Jakarta.

In Semarang, KoenoKoeni Hotel Semarang brings yet another dimension to the portfolio, with storytelling rooted in culture, memory and heritage. The brand traces its beginnings to a gallery café showcasing historically significant antique collections, developing around an appreciation for craftsmanship and the stories carried through objects across generations.

The 111-room small luxury hotel translates that heritage into a contemporary hospitality experience envisioned as a “portal through time,” where historical richness meets modern comfort. Its dining concepts — Roepa Rasa, Sapa Rasa and rooftop restaurant and bar Soeara Langit — together with wellness, leisure and event facilities, bring the property closer to realising a hospitality experience distinctly connected to Semarang’s cultural identity.

Building Hospitality Brands Beyond Visibility

While each of the four brands and destinations has a different proposition, their communications requirements reflect a wider evolution within hospitality, travel and destination marketing.

Travelers today encounter an increasingly competitive landscape of destinations, hotels, restaurants, experiences and lifestyle brands. Building sustained relevance therefore requires more than an opening announcement, media launch or short-term campaign.

SCOP3’s approach to hospitality PR and strategic communications focuses on identifying what makes each brand culturally, emotionally or commercially relevant to its audiences and translating those insights into narratives capable of generating interest over time.

“Every hospitality brand has something different at the heart of its story whether that is the transformation of a destination, the character of its surroundings, the heritage behind a concept or a new way of experiencing a familiar place,” Liem added.

“Our role is to identify that relevance and bring it to the right audiences in a way that feels genuine to the brand and meaningful to the people we are speaking to.”

With its growing portfolio spanning integrated resorts, international hotel brands, luxury resorts, independent hotels and tourism destinations, SCOP3 continues to deepen its expertise across hospitality, luxury lifestyle, travel and destination communications.

Through strategic communications, public relations, media engagement, destination positioning, influencer engagement and Indonesian market insight, the agency helps hospitality and tourism brands move beyond visibility and build lasting relevance with the audiences they want to reach.
