SJM Presents Picasso’s Original Masterpieces in Support of Art Macao
Macau, 2 July 2025 - This summer, art enthusiasts will have an unprecedented opportunity to immerse themselves in Pablo Picasso’s artistic universe during Art Macao. Presented by SJM Resorts S.A. in collaboration with the Málaga City Council and Museo Casa Natal Picasso, the global debut of “Picasso: Beauty and Drama” will make its grand premiere at Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau. While Picasso is renowned worldwide as a painter, viewers will witness his full creative evolution through a curated collection of original works in printmaking, ceramics, and illustration.

Through the curated selection, visitors can trace the artistic journey of the master – from his early technical brilliance to his later boundary-pushing explorations. The exhibition also echoes the theme of Art Macao 2025: “Hey, what brings you here?”, inviting visitors to reflect on the relationship between art, identity, and one’s original creative drive—a question Picasso ceaselessly asked himself throughout his life.
