Trisara, PRU, JAMPA and Tri Vananda
Asia-based luxury travel and lifestyle PR agency, Petrie PR, is delighted to announce its recent appointment to represent Montara Hospitality Group, an award-winning Thai hospitality group with a portfolio of bespoke properties including ultra-luxe beach resort Trisara, Michelin-starred restaurant PRU, farm to fork cuisine JAMPA and multi-generational living community Tri Vananda.
With 30 years of experience in the fields of lifestyle, travel, destinations, design, luxury real estate and hospitality, Petrie PR will activate an integrated campaign to introduce Montara Hospitality across the Singapore/Southeast Asia, Indonesia, Hong Kong and China markets as a diverse hospitality group offering the best-in-class experiences in Phuket blending sustainability, wellness, fine-dining and luxury living.
Trisara Phuket
Trisara, meaning “The Garden in The Third Heaven” in Sanskrit, is a luxurious and exclusive pool villa beach resort in Phuket. Located just 15 minutes from Phuket International Airport, Trisara is set in a protected nature preserve surrounded by tropical forest, exotic gardens and the sparkling Andaman Sea.
The resort features 60 pool villas and private residences, each designed with generous spaces, rich interiors and thoughtful details to offer a sense of total privacy. Guests staying at the exquisite collection of two-to-seven-bedroom residential pool villas are cared for by a dedicated staff and private chef who prepare home-cooked Thai and Western dishes in the fully equipped modern kitchens.
Inspired by the ancient spiritual Ficus tree, Jara Spa offers award-winning wellbeing experiences that focus on the five pillars of Root, Trunk, Branch, Blossom and Spirituality. Guests can rejuvenate themselves with relaxing treatments such as massages and facials, as well as mindfulness practices like mediation and yoga. For those seeking an active lifestyle, Trisara also boasts a range of wellness activities from Muay Thai, tennis and TRX training to watersports such as stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking and snorkelling.
Guests can embark on a culinary journey at Trisara’s unique dining venues including PRU, the only Michelin-starred restaurant in Southern Thailand; Cielo, an oceanfront Mediterranean restaurant; SAT, a refined Southern Thai homestyle restaurant; and DALA Bistro & Bar, an intimate space for craft cocktails and coffee with pan-Asian tapas.
PRU
Located adjacent to the luxurious Trisara Resort, PRU is Phuket’s first and only Michelin-starred restaurant. Helmed by Executive Chef, Jimmy Ophorst, PRU showcases a “community-to-fork” gastronomy experience with menus that celebrate exceptional ingredients from Phuket and around Thailand.
With an open kitchen, diners can see, smell and taste how Chef Jimmy and his team transform rare Thai ingredients, such as the fragrant peppercorns and hard-to-harvest ta-ko into creative and flavourful dishes that excite the palate. Diners can also enjoy an intimate experience at The Reserve, a private dining room within a modern wine cave that houses a select collection of over 200 premium and rare wines.
Leading sustainable fine dining in Thailand, PRU sources vegetables and herbs from its own organic farm, Pru Jampa, which also supplies ingredients to its sister restaurant JAMPA and Trisara’s other dining outlets. In addition to its regular menu, PRU offers an ovo-lacto plant-based “Gaia” menu and a lighter seasonal lunch menu to highlight lesser-known Thai ingredients in a sustainable way.
Sustainability and community are inextricably intertwined through the guest experience as PRU incorporates community-crafted artisanal products, from lounge chairs and tiles to crockery and cutlery, supporting and embracing the local community.
JAMPA
Located in Phuket’s newest wellness community, Tri Vananda, JAMPA showcases a “Local Ingredients, Live Fire and Zero Waste Cuisine” and has been awarded the prestigious MICHELIN Green Star in its first year of operation for its contribution to hyper-local, plant-focused and zero waste cuisine.
JAMPA follows a farm-to-fork concept, using live fire cooking to transform local ingredients sourced from their own farm into nutritious and balanced culinary creations. The restaurant offers an exclusive Saturday experience, HiDEAWAY by JAMPA, where diners can enjoy a farm tour and a seasonal sharing-style menu served at the exquisite al fresco table.
Committed to the “Dine Good Do Good” philosophy of Montara Hospitality Group’s, Chef Rick Dingen and his team minimise environmental impact and support the local community through sustainable practices. The restaurant adopts a zero-waste approach, breaking down waste with a zero carbon footprint and using the organic compost in their farm.
Tri Vananda
Tri Vananda is an aspirational residential community purposely built in Phuket that emphasises functional and integrative medicine, nutrition, cognitive health, and mindfulness. With an exquisite abundance of natural environment, the low-density development offers world-class facilities, unparalleled quality of services and a variety of activities catering to the needs of its residents.
Under development to debut in 2025, Tri Vananda will feature 70 biophilic-designed residential pool villas with nature-inspired layouts, natural lighting and ventilation, resembling a tropical home ideal for a lifestyle of wellness and sustainability. Residents can choose from two- to four-bedroom configurations, fully equipped with working and dining areas, as well as outdoor spaces for year-round and seasonal stays.
Transforming the luxury wellness scene in Asia, Montara Hospitality Group and Clinique La Prairie have partnered to launch a new Health Resort by Clinique La Prairie at Tri Vananda in 2026. With a unique holistic approach, the Health Resort will comprise comprehensive medical and wellness facilities for health diagnostics with tailored programmes to help residents and guests live longer, healthier, and better lives. World class wellness facilities at the Health Resort by Clinique La Prairie will include a medical centre with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, an active movement centre with an Olympic-size swimming pool, a wellness restaurant for personalised nutrition, a holistic wellbeing centre, and a mindfulness centre house in the iconic “Manorah” Grand Hall inspired by the local Thai heritage.
