Calling all senores y senoritas - the most lavish party to arrive on Bali’s shores in recent years is just around the corner. On the evening of Thursday, March 21, Seminyak institution Motel Mexicola will be hosting a birthday bash like no other in ode to its past 11 years in business.

As you’d expect from Bali’s most beloved party palace, there’s no shortage of entertainment planned for the night. Embracing the theme of ‘Outrageous Circus’, the birthday will see Motel Mexicola overflowing with dancers and magicians, to be joined by ongoing DJ sets and a live performance courtesy of local rockabilly band The Hydrant. Aside from ample tequila, there will be plenty of food including a 7-course feast of Mexican-inspired favorites.

It’s an event not to be missed, says Adam Hall of Mexicola Group. “While every birthday is special as it's a celebration of another year of trading (especially after covid). But I think 11 years is a really great achievement! As every night is a party at Motel Mexicola, that means we’ve had 4000 of them in our time.” He’s also hinted that the best is yet to come for Motel Mexicola, with further expansion on the cards. “After the success of the Canggu opening, our wish is to expand the Motel Mexicola brand into other regions, both nationally and internationally,” he says. “People all over the world should be able to enjoy the unique Motel Mexicola experience.”

Motel Mexicola’s 11th birthday will be hosted on March 21. But there is limited availability - while walk-ins are welcome, reservations are recommended and can be made via Dinner bookings require a 50% deposit.
